The Daily Star — Rep. Richard Hanna, R-Barneveld, has picked up the endorsement of the Associated Builders and Contractors in his quest to keep his seat representing New York’s 22nd Congressional District in Washington.
“Richard is a proven fighter for free enterprise and open competition and will remain an ,advocate for New York job creators,” Steve Tallman, president of TAG Mechanical Systems, Inc., in Syracuse said in a statement.
Hanna is locked in a Republican primary with Assemblywoman Claudia Tenney, R-New Hartford. The two are expected to face off in the June congressional primary.
Tenney has been endorsed by conservative Michael Vasquez of Binghamton, who was considering a run for the seat but had not filed nominating petitions.
