UTICA, N.Y. – Thirty-three local employers are now checking through resumes for job applicants after a job fair at MVCC on Friday.
It wasn’t only for students at the community college, but for members of the entire community.
The event was set up by Republican Congressman Richard Hanna’s staff.
Hanna says the number one goal of his office is to get the economy on track.
He says getting local people back to work is helping to accomplish that goal.
Hanna (R) – 22nd Congressional District said, “It’s so hard to apply for a job going from one place to another. Here they’re all in one place.”
