WHITESBORO, N.Y. — The Oneida County Republican Committee endorsed Congressman Richard Hanna in his re-election bid for the U.S. House of Representatives, Chairman Pete Sobel announced this week.
The Committee made its endorsement Saturday during a breakfast meeting at Hart’s Hill Inn. The 22nd Congressional District includes all of Oneida County as well as Chenango, Cortland and Madison counties. It includes part of Broome, Herkimer, Oswego and Tioga counties.
“Richard’s continued efforts to work on behalf of Oneida County residents and everyone in the 22nd Congressional District is paramount,” Chairman Sobel said. “He has been a dedicated representative and we need a proven leader like Richard to remain in Congress.”
Congressman Hanna, who lives in Barneveld, owned and operated a business in Oneida County for 30 years and employed hundreds in the community. He has represented Oneida County as a member of Congress since 2011.
“It is a privilege and an honor to have the continued support of the Oneida County Republican Committee,” Congressman Hanna said. “I look forward to continuing our work to bring prosperity and a bright future back to upstate New York.”
